Spring trips photo report #2

And here goes the second part of the spring trips photos. This time a report by Pascal Rapin from our Birdline Tours trip in May this year. If you ever hesitate to go on a tour with Lionel Maumary do not! He is a real magician in getting great, decent views of birds. This is just a selection of over 160 species we saw in a week. Full list of birds posted

Just posted a full list of birds of the NE Poland. It’s got breeders, birds passing and vagrants plus wintering status. It’s probably not perfect and one could argue about some of the species statuses. Let me know if you find any of the information there irrelevant. Just added three more months to the wildlife calendar. You can now check what’s on in the top-season time here from April till June. And check out the tiny pics I’ve added for nicer browsing :) See the wildlife calendar section.

Bird fotosafari

Last Saturday I was out guiding the Nikon Klub Polska staff (gosh thay had big lenses :) ) for Biebrza Eco-Travel. We saw some great flocks of Geese, many Cranes and stuning landscapes.

Biebrza and Narew are now free of ice and vast flooding covers large areas. (more…)
