Białowieża Site Guide Online until end of October 2010

Writing a book usually takes longer than you’ve assumed and it seems that we will be busy with our trips until end of summer.

More chapters will follow in September and now you can enjoy them for 4 more months, until the end of October.

3rd chapter is online

Just posted the next chapter of our Bialowieża Site Guide Online. Out introduction grew to 6,500 words so far and it took a while to make it all easy to read and understandable, hopefully :)

2nd chapter posted!

First of all.. happy New Year to everyone! May all your plans come true.

We are proceeding with our free chapters, the book is slowly getting its shape.. Just published, is the part 1 of the Introduction featuring:

- Basic facts and numbers about the Białowieża Forest on both Polish and Belarusian sides
- Forest districts – the layout of the Site Guide
- How to not get lost in the forest
- CAUTION! State border. Do not cross.

First chapter posted!

We have now started posting the Białowieża Site Guide Online. We came up with this crazy idea of publishing the next Site Guide as we write it. The book is actually in preparation stage now.. bits of text, species lists, maps and photos.

And as we finish it and put it all together you get your chance to read it for free, ask questions and contribute. We may even publish your feedback if we find it useful for the future readers!

Bialowieza reccy trip

Just came back from a reccy that we did with Jezior in the forest. Had to check out a few sites, crossroads, shortcuts and distances. All of that just to provide you with the most up-to-date info in our long awaited Bialowieza Site Guide soon to be published :)
