Bialowieza reccy trip
Just came back from a reccy that we did with Jezior in the forest. Had to check out a few sites, crossroads, shortcuts and distances. All of that just to provide you with the most up-to-date info in our long awaited Bialowieza Site Guide soon to be published

Autumn here
Although we’re now focused on getting the next Site Guide ready for you, we do some guiding in the meantime. Last days I have spent guiding for Biebrza Eco-Travel.
We’ve had a great time watching something like 9 Elks, a White-tailed Eagle, dozens of Cranes and Greylag Geese at dawn, Goosanders, Egrets and Herons. Many northern birds already arrived – we saw loads of Bullfinches, (more…)
Eagles trip report
Eager for eagles we’ve had a trip around Biebrza yesterday with Wisent Reisen from Zurich.. With Erik, his wife and lovely daughters we visited Zygmunta Augusta lake, Mscichy, Brzostowo, Burzyn, Bagno Lawki and Goniadz. Results? Seems that Lesser Spotted Eagles have already left.. but we’ve been lucky with others

If you ever hesitate to go on a tour with Lionel Maumary do not! He is a real magician in getting great, decent views of birds. This is just a selection of over 160 species we saw in a week. Summer trips report
Hi there,
This summer has, as usual been quite successful in terms of wildlife seen on our trips. So far we’ve got 100% success in all our Elk, Beaver and Bison trips with animals seen and photographed. Moreover, we also managed to twitch most of the rare birds here like Eagles or Aquatic Warblers (more…)
Bison Patrol report
Last tuesday I had a chance to guide Thomas and Sylvia from Germany/Austria in the Bialowieza Forest. We didn’t expect much as for this time of the year, nevertheless we decided to try and go Bisoning. Just after the first meters we walked into the forest, clear Bison tracks could be seen on the path which was a good sign we were on the right track.
