Writing a book usually takes longer than you’ve assumed and it seems that we will be busy with our trips until end of summer.

More chapters will follow in September and now you can enjoy them for 4 more months, until the end of October.

Accommodation update

Just added a few more accommodation to choose from and changed the layout a bit, following your comments and questions. Now you can read a short comment about location, food and atmosphere of each accommodation. Check out updated tables in our resources section.

Biebrza Site Guide at NHBS Bookstore

Hey there, good news :)

Biebrza Site Guide is now available at NHBS Environment Bookstore. If you prefer traditional bookstores give it a try. They priced it at £55.50 and it’s well worth it. For half the guide’s fee you gain detailed descriptions and maps that allow you to see all the species available.

Travelling with this book really is like being guided by a person. It can save you way more money (more…)

Biebrza trails in GPS

Good news to all who use GPS receivers in the field.

Now all the walking and cycling trails in the Biebrza National Park are available in GPS format to download. A list of paths with a map has been posted at the NP webpages here »

Ruffs rule

I’ve had a short Biebrza trip today with friends from Wisent Reisen. The two spots are definitely recommended and worth visiting now: Mścichy and Brzostowo. They are just full of displaying Ruffs, Wood Sandpipers, Spotted Redshanks, White-winged and Whiskered Terns. Want more? There are great Bluethroats and Citrine Wagtails at Mścichy and Little Terns at Brzostowo. Check our forum for full lists of birds to see at the Biebrza Marshes now (more…)
