Greater Spotted Eagle

Eager for eagles we’ve had a trip around Biebrza yesterday with Wisent Reisen from Zurich.. With Erik, his wife and lovely daughters we visited Zygmunta Augusta lake, Mscichy, Brzostowo, Burzyn, Bagno Lawki and Goniadz. Results? Seems that Lesser Spotted Eagles have already left.. but we’ve been lucky with others :) (more…)

Summer trips report

This summer has, as usual been quite successful in terms of wildlife seen on our trips. So far we’ve got 100% success in all our Elk, Beaver and Bison trips with animals seen and photographed. Moreover, we also managed to twitch most of the rare birds here like Eagles or Aquatic Warblers (more…)

Biebrza Site Guide is now available at NHBS Environment Bookstore. If you prefer traditional bookstores give it a try. They priced it at £55.50 and it’s well worth it. For half the guide’s fee you gain detailed descriptions and maps that allow you to see all the species available.

Biebrza trails in GPS

Good news to all who use GPS receivers in the field.

Now all the walking and cycling trails in the Biebrza National Park are available in GPS format to download. A list of paths with a map has been posted at the NP webpages here »
